Clive Sparkes, Resident Instructor

Clive Sparkes was awarded his 1st Dan Black Belt in November 2005, but has been training with Jason Andrews or many years (well before BKA began back in 2001).

During his years with BKA, he was instrumental in the set up of our Cherry Hinton dojo, and has been a driving force within the club, promoting active involvement with many local community activities and demonstrations.

As one who believes very much in applied Karate, Clive enjoys running classes that are varied in content and demonstrate how Karate works in real world situations.

Clive currently is the resident instructor who looks after the Thursday sessions at the Cherry Hinton dojo but still actively trains with the club students on Tuesdays in Burwell.
